We have always been suspicious of ‘voice’ in Second Life®.
As the ‘Lab pursues its mysterious and opaque agenda of entangling us deeper and further into this collective hallucination, it seems that others, fighting for keeping the dominance in the Viewer Wars, have taken an unprecedented misstep: they will shut down voice communications.
Granted, this only applies to users of the old viewer. Which, by sheer coincidence (or not!), is the one most people use to log in to Second Life.
